Question No. 3

Muhammad(sa) was never granted any miracles, as is stated in Surah Al-‘Ankabut: 'They say why were not a few signs sent down to him from his Lord.' (That is to say, 'Why was not a single sign sent down to him,' for, the expression 'La' in this verse is a universal negative, and it implies the negation of a class as a whole.) Then, in Surah Bani Isra’il, we read, 'And We did not send signs because people had rejected them before.' Which means that God did not give him any miracles. If he had been given even one miracle, he would not have been in doubt about [his own] Prophethood, nor about the Quran.
