As a result of Hazrat Khalifatul-Masih IV’s presence in London, the Jalsa Salana of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community UK became very special. Each year, the number of people attending this Jalsa increased. Representatives from many Jama‘ats around the world started to attend the Jalsa. Then in 1993, another spiritually uplifting event took place which was the International Bai‘at. This International Bai‘at became part of the Jalsa Salana. Each year, all the new converts who attend the Jalsa UK, along with all others, get to place their hand in Khalifatul-Masih’s hand and take the oath of allegiance. Through the live broadcast of this bai‘at on MTA International, Ahmadis around the world are able to participate in this. This continues till today.
