About the Author

Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad, the fifth spiritual successor [Khalifah] and great grandson of the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian, is the Head of the Worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama‘at spread over 200 countries. He is the elect of God and voice‐articulate of the age.

Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad graduated from Ta‘limul‐Islam College, Rabwah, Pakistan, and in 1976 received his M.Sc. degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. Thereafter he devoted his life to the service of the Jama‘at and went to Ghana under the Nusrat Jahan Scheme. There he served for several years as Principal of various Ahmadiyya Muslim Schools and as the Manager of the Ahmadiyya Agricultural Farms.

In December 1997 Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad was appointed as Nazir‐e‐A‘la [Chief Executive] of Sadr Anjuman Ahmadiyya, Pakistan.

He was elected to the office of Khalifah, the Supreme Head of the Jama‘at, on 22nd April 2003 after the demise of the fourth Khalifah, Hazrat Mirza Tahir Ahmad. Because of the persecution of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama‘at in Pakistan, he is currently based in London from where he champions Islam’s message of love, peace and tolerance.
