On Saturday 5 October 2019, the Worldwide Head of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, the Fifth Khalifah (Caliph), His Holiness, Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad(aba) addressed an audience of dignitaries and guests on the second day of the 27th Annual Convention of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in France.
In this address His Holiness speaks about how the teachings of Islam safeguards the rights and freedoms of all people and how, by acting upon these teachings, lasting peace in society can be achieved. He further illustrates, contrary to the actions of so-called Muslim extremists, that the holy person of the Prophet of Islam(sa) was a champion in establishing and protecting universal rights. In great detail he draws a parallel between the verses of the Holy Qur’an and the practice of the Holy Prophet Muhammad(sa) in embedding such teachings into the fabric of a true Islamic society.
